Before you join
- Get your FCC FRN in advance.
- Test your camera, microphone, and screen sharing.
- Bring a photo ID and any CSCEs.
- Join a few minutes early.

Step by step
Online exam flow
- Pick a date: Pick a date on the HamStudy WEARC sessions page.
- Complete your registration: Complete your registration on the hamstudy.org website.
- Pay the exam fee: Pay the exam fee within the next hour at https://hamradioonlinetest.com/payment/.
- Prepare your setup: Check camera, microphone, and screen sharing. Gather your FRN, ID, and CSCEs.
- Join early: Log in a few minutes before the start time so the VE team can verify your audio and video.
- Take the exam: Follow VE instructions, complete the element, and ask questions if anything is unclear.
